Butch Coaton was born and raised in Zimbabwe.  He grew up in the Lowveld on sugar estates where he spent a lot of time in the bush and hunting. After school Butch went to the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, England. After graduating in 1985, he came straight back to Zimbabwe and has been a Professional Hunter since 1986. First he worked for Buffalo Range Safaris, and then for Ingwe Safaris. Butch is married to Jenny and they have two beautiful daughters.
