Zambezi Hunters mixes the old and the new. Established in 1969 by Ian Piercy as one of the first registered safari operators in Zimbabwe, the company has a proud and respected tradition of providing exceptional big game hunting. Zambezi Hunters is now owned by Jonathan Hulme, Alistair Pole and Joe Pedersen. We are all committed to developing the company into one of the premier safari operators in Africa. This is done with a lot of enthusiasm and it is an exciting time to be involved with Zambezi Hunters as any of their clients will attest to.

Jonathan has been a PH for over 20 years and has earned a reputation as one of the  finest  and most dedicated in the business. Alistair did his PhD on African wild dogs and was a wildlife management consultant before joining Zambezi Hunters. He now runs the business side of the operation. Joe Pedersen has been a successful business man in a variety of sectors and will help in the marketing of the company and business development.

The experience gained over the years has taught them that running successful safaris is dependent on a number of factors. Key amongst these are attention to detail, maintaining high standards of professionalism and having a personal approach to the business. Zambezi Hunters have exclusive rights to some of the best hunting areas in Zimbabwe and run high class safari camps within these concessions. They all have proven track records and uphold our high standards of ethics and professionalism.

We have a dedicated team from the trackers and skinners to the PH’s and the office staff in Harare. Everyone at Zambezi Hunters works tirelessly to make sure that every aspect of your safari will run as smoothly as possible.
